wet, drip, madidus wet, drenched, drunk, Gr. ?, ?, wet, ? to
be wet, Skr. mad to boil, matta drunk. Cf. Emane.]

less constantly; as, fragrance emanates from flowers.

2. To proceed from, as a source or fountain; to take origin;
to arise, to originate.
